I’m the most “un-mechanical” man that God ever created. Recently I decided to be brave and replace some components in the toilet.
I was so proud upon completion. The only problem…was flushing. More water leaked out the bottom of the tank than went down the drain unless you turned the water valve to the off position!
I finally gave up and had Esther call the plumber. He worked for quite some time and finally completed the “extreme make-over”. He asked Esther what I did for a living. She told him, and he suggested that I keep my day time job.
My trouble began with buying the wrong parts and escalated with screwing bolts in backwards!
All of my tools fit in a small Tupperware container!
Unfortunately, most of us try to do the same thing with our lives. We try to fix the leaks on our own. We make a mess and tend to wait until there’s a flood before we seek outside help. We “buy” the wrong parts and do not have the right tools.
As a last resort, we finally crash and pray a “911” prayer.

as to how to put our life together, repair the leaks, and function like new!
